L4ST; A Photography Exhibition By Noor Haizan

L4ST Exhibition is happening from 19th April - 4th May 2025

For almost 20 years Noor Haizan bin Samsudin (known as Haizan to most) has been documenting skateboarders in Malaysia and Southeast Asia through the lens of his cameras. From the heydays of skate-centric publications in the 00’s up to recent local ads by Vans, Haizan’s work has been the source for industry-standard skateboarding photos in the region.

Born 5th April 1983 in Mersing Hospital, Johor, Haizan grew up in the industrialised area of Serdang, Selangor where he was exposed to skateboarding culture and later on documented skate rat activities in the streets of KL during this teenage days. Alongside his crew called KL-minute, Haizan was determined to document the best moments of the skateboarding scene in Malaysia by actively being in the streets and skate parks no matter night or day. 

2 decades later, Haizan is still pursuing his craft and skaters of the current generation on his trusted bicycle, immortalising epic moments that are otherwise gone in a split second.
